Why is 2011 silent?
Deaths are supposed to be the loudest thing the Well can hear. So why does it answer TARGET SILENT for the night her father died on that bridge?

A physicist's machine for retrieving the past returns her own murder, timestamped next Thursday, and every minute she pulls to stop it erases her brother.
Physicist Kit Beiler has built a machine that draws a single minute out of the past and plays it back as a silver, faceless echo. Searching for the night her father died, she hears something louder: her own death on the Tannery Street footbridge, timestamped this Thursday at 23:14. Every minute she draws to find her killer erases half of what she remembers of the people in it, and nearly every minute holds the brother she raised.
The film is complete in 50 minutes. If it funds, a four-part series opens as a stretch goal, with the film as episode one.

A two-frame flash in the fastest run is the machine's boot screen. Which fund is printed on it?
Inside the empty outline on the garage pegboard is a strip of tape. On what day of November 2011 did the first machine go out?
The silence before the title is not empty. Look at it as a picture of sound and read the year.
