How a trailer becomes a film.

Four things happen, in order. Money moves at exactly one of them, and we email you a day before it does.

We make the trailer first.

5-10

trailers on the slate at any time

Every story starts as a fully built world and a trailer of about ninety seconds. It is the strongest pitch we can make, and it is real footage from the film it promises.

Each trailer hides three clues. Solve them and you unlock a scene the trailer left out.

You pledge. It costs nothing.

$0

charged when you pledge

You pick a pledge (one month for $12, three months for $36, or a year for $120), read the terms, tick the box, and save a card. Nothing is charged. You can withdraw any time before the film funds.

Each trailer is live for up to 60 days. Its deadline is printed on the pledge.

At $10,000, it gets made.

24h

notice before any charge

The moment a film reaches its goal, we email every backer with the exact time of the charge, 24 hours later. Then each backer is charged once. That payment is your first month of membership: the whole library, plus a new film every month.

If a film does not reach $10,000 before its deadline, the authorization ends. Nobody is charged, ever, for a film that is not made.

Then the audience keeps steering.

2

votes for each backer you bring

Members argue about every film on its theory board. Each backer you recruit earns you two votes on which worlds become the next trailers and moves you up the recruiters board.

Membership renews at $12 a month and you can cancel in two clicks, online, with no call and no save offer.

Questions people ask first

When exactly is my card charged?

Once, 24 hours after the first film you backed reaches $10,000. We email you first. Not when you pledge, and never for a film that does not fund. After that, membership renews monthly at $12.

What if I back three films and they all fund?

You are charged when the first one funds, which starts your membership. The other two keep counting toward their goals at full value and are covered by that membership. You never pay twice for the same month.

Can I back a film with a different amount?

Yes. Back any film with any amount from $15. It is charged once, only if the film reaches $10,000, and the film is then yours to stream on Beget Media anytime, even without a membership. Larger amounts add early access, the premiere watch party, more say in what gets made and credits. Membership is a separate add-on, and backing $25 or more makes its first month free.

Can I download a film I own?

No. Owning a film means streaming it on Beget Media whenever you like. There are no downloads, so films stay on Beget Media.

I am already a member. Can I still back films?

Yes. Members back films with a free vote, which counts toward the ranking, and can add a one-time boost of $5 or more that counts toward the $10,000. A boost is charged only if the film funds.

Can I take a pledge back?

Yes, any time before the charge, in one click from your account. If you cancel during the 24-hour notice the film still gets made; you just are not charged.

What if my card fails when the film funds?

We email you a link to confirm with your bank or use another card, and retry over seven days. If it still does not go through, the pledge closes and nothing is charged.

What does backing a series do?

A series pledge funds the pilot block, the first two episodes, at $10,000. Later episodes are made from membership revenue if the pilot holds its audience. It does not guarantee all four.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Ask within 14 days of your first charge and we refund it in full. If a funded film misses its stated release window by more than 30 days, every backer can take a refund or a free month.

What happens if I cancel?

You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Your theories, clues and recruiting votes stay on your account if you come back.

Are these films made with AI?

Yes, and we say so on every title card. Read what that means and what it does not.
