Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account: your email, display name, and the name you choose for credits.
• Pledges: what you backed, when, and the record of the terms you agreed to (text, time and IP address), which we keep for at least three years as the law requires.
• Payments: card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. We keep Stripe's customer and payment references.
• Viewing: which films you play and for how long, to run the library and settle disputes.
• Community: theories, votes and clue solves you post, which are public on the film's page.

What we do with it

We use it to run pledges and membership, send the emails the service needs (pledge confirmations, funding notices, receipts, renewal reminders), keep the community working, and prevent fraud. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Processors that run the service for us: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and sign-in), our email provider, our video provider, and our host. Each may use it only to provide that service.

Advertising

If we use advertising pixels, you can opt out of targeted advertising at any time, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals where state law gives you that right.

Your choices

You can see, correct or delete your account data by emailing privacy@beget.media. Deleting your account cancels membership and open pledges. We keep consent and payment records for as long as the law requires.
